We first met Martina- from Germany- through Hanh Merriman. Hanh was in Paris for a Balanciaga private show and had invited Jane and Judy Aldridge -from blogs seaofshoes and Atlantishome-, as well as Martina.
They all came to visit us and we had a great time together !
Funny coincidence, Martina is living in the same area as some of our family in Germany, so as we went there last week, we had planed to meet again in Dortmund, at a nice Italian restaurant called 'Rigoletto' !
We all love Martina, she is such a good person and so pretty too, I am wondering why she is still single !?:)
Martina has a blog but never shows her face, I hope I have convinced her to change her mind this year, I am sure her Prince Charming is waiting somewhere !:)
Here are some pictures of Martina with her Hanna Bernhard cross necklace, and her insect necklace, which she ordered later on.

Later in the week, we went to Dusseldorf for the first time. We all liked it !
Here are some pictures we took in that nice city, architechtural details and more.
Dusseldorf is the capital city of the German state of North Rhine-Westphalia and center of the Rhine-Ruhr metropolitan region.
We liked the atmosphere, the old part of town with pedestrian streets, the Koenig Allee and the chic stores, Chanel, Prada, Vuitton, everything is there ! Dusseldorf is wellknown for its fashion and trade fairs !
I am posting quite a lot of pictures, didn't know what to choose, so why choosing ?

Post will end by some pictures of our 2 lovely nieces, Hello Kristin and Carolin !!:)))

Have a happy day !

Lisa is a US Television executive in Atlanta GA, and is also a passionate collector of both vintage and contemporary art & fashion!

One of her favorite designers is Bonnie Cashin, she has about 100 unique pieces in her collection!  She is also a huge fan of vintage Hermes, Chanel & Yves Saint Laurent, and has some pretty cool pieces (clothing, bags and jewelry) from the 60s through to present day! She looks at fashion as an art form - and her home is actually decorated with many of her favorite finds!!

Lisa purchased a cross necklace from us several months ago and has just aquired a black and clear snake necklace, which was recently pulled out by Vogue France magazine for a photo shoot :)

Have a nice day !

This Summer we went through Nice on the French Riviera for a couple of days, before going on a cruise on the Mediterranean sea.

Nice is a beautiful city, full of great Art deco buildings, which is our favorite art period, with Art Nouveau.

My husband loves ironwork and took many pictures, I have thought you could enjoy to see some of them :)

Have a happy day !
